The Mu-Tron MU-TRON III is a modern day reincarnation of the legendary MU-TRON III. With the same circuit and a modern, inernal power supply, this envelope filter offers a compact and reliable, “gigable” unit to your pedal board. Whether it’s guitar, bass, clavinet, orsynths, the MU-TRON III will help you get the vintage funk out.
“Bleed” By-Pas! – See internal settings to put unit into bleed bypass mode.
This allows the MU-TRON III to act as a clean boost when in bypass mode. This 2 for 1 functionality is a tone secret of one very renown guitar player. The MU-TRON III sits well after clean boost and octave effects and before modulation, delay, and reverb. Overdrive and distortions may work well pre and post MU-TRON III and we encourage players to find the best combination for their taste in music and their style of playing.
